Networking Session

All undergraduates are required to complete a minimum of 10 week of internship. DKHMCC assists students through the whole process from sourcing to completion of administrative formalities for clearing this mandatory degree requirement. Students matriculated from AY 2019-20 onwards (*excluding students in the Bachelor of Laws programme) will be awarded one course unit (1 CU) upon successful completion of the internship requirements. For Bachelor of Laws students, a 10-week internship is a mandatory but non-credit bearing degree requirement.

These internships have important pre-requisites to prepare you for the experience through a series of online modules called the Foundational Finishing Touch programme. This includes the Reflective Practice Unit (RPU), 5 Internship Readiness Modules (IRMs), an E-internship briefing and an e-quiz, which are offered on e-Learn and are to be completed to be eligible for an internship.

All students are granted access to a portal called ONTRACII and are invited to engage with DKHMCC through this portal. The portal allows for booking appointments with your coach, register for workshops and recruitment events, review internship and full time job postings, apply for internships and propose internships of your choice for DKHMCC’s review.  The login to the portal is from here.

DKHMCC hosts career fairs every semester to create networking opportunities for students with employers and allow them to find out more about companies and employment prospects with them.

Every student at SMU is assigned a career coach at DKHMCC. These coaches meet students one-on-one to support them with career coaching, providing resume and cover letter critique and for administering various personality profiling tools.

You can log on to ONTRACII to find the details of your career coach under your profile. The entire list of contacts at DKHMCC is given here
